Spike is a very sweet 24yr old Appaloosa gelding. He spent many years as an English lesson horse, but he clearly has a Western background. Spike lost an eye several years ago, but despite that he continued to be a wonderful beginner / intermediate lesson horse, was great on trails, and was used in a therapeutic riding program as well.  He was always a favorite because of his willingness and because he always took very good care of his riders. Now that he is getting older, Spike has some arthritis and is ready to retire; and while he shouldn’t be ridden, he can still do occasional lead line rides for children. Spike is very affectionate, loves attention, and will keep you laughing with his quirky personality. He does best with geldings, and he really enjoys his equine buddies so he would not do well alone. Spike is a very special horse who has taken wonderful care of his riders all these years; now he deserves to be the one who is taken care of.  Will you be the one to give him a loving forever home?

**Special Note-24/7 turnout would be best for Spike**

Nemo is a kind, gentle 23yr old Registered Quarter Horse gelding who stands approx. 15.2h. He has a lip tattoo, so he probably raced in his younger days. He was a wonderful school horse for 3½ years, where he worked both in lessons and in a therapeutic riding program. Now that he is a little older, he can be ridden lightly at the walk only. Nemo is the best pasture-mate one could ever hope to find! He can be trusted to get along very well with any horse he is turned out with and he is a great babysitter.  Nemo is one of the sweetest horses you will ever meet – he loves attention and is easy to work with on the ground. He has had a long career and now deserves a happy retirement in a home where he will be loved and well cared for. Are you the one who will give him his forever home?

Nemo will be adopted to an approved home only. References,
an adoption fee and an adoption agreement are required.
