The FLSS Junior Committee has been keeping busy over the past few weeks as we wrap up summer and head back to school. Members recently worked together to create posters, advertising LSS, which were hung on bulletin boards at nearby parks.
In addition to holding a bake sale at the FLSS Private Horse Hunter Pace, they also put together a memory board, featuring stall cards and other mementos from lesson horses who have passed away. The board will be featured in the addition, which the committee is currently planning to redecorate.
For more information regarding meeting dates, follow @jr.flss on Instagram or email the president, Megan Vetter, at firstname.lastname@example.org. The committee is open to all riders ages 9-18 and new members are always welcome.

The Juniors held another successful Bake Sale during the Spring Junior and Adult Horse Shows! Many of the Junior Friends participated in the show or Drill Team and volunteered their time in between riding classes.
Is there a better way to bond with or make new friends and get ready for a weekend of horse showing? We think not! The Junior Friends spent their Friday afternoon cleaning the saddles of horses to be ridden in the upcoming Horse Shows on June 9th and 10th.
June 3rd was a busy day for the Junior Friends! The donated mulch from Vetter Landscaping for the Memorial Garden was dropped off first thing in the morning and spread throughout the garden. It really does look more beautiful than ever! The Juniors then jetted over to the Hunter Pace to welcome riders and guests for the event.
The rescheduled Spring Hunter Pace was a great success with a huge turnout! The Junior Friends served refreshments and baked goods to the guests and met riders, horses, and dogs of all shapes and sizes!
